Getting Families and Friends out on the Water! Black Friday Sail
Friday was a light and foggy day, but a southeasterly breeze started to gently drift across Hampton Roads for the Black Friday Sail. Two start lines were used to enable dinghies to keelboats all sail together. The whole premise was simple: Go Sailing instead of Shopping, place junior sailors next to adults, families and friends all having a nice easy short distance race! Thank you to John Blais, Aubrie Jervis, Leigh Chapman, Mike Hollick, Alan Mason and Melissa Green for their help with RC and safety boats.

The plan is to host a short distance race for everyone the day after the Thanksgiving Holiday. From Optis to the biggest PHRF A fleet boat (obviously we will have separate courses and starting lines) but this event is meant to bring us all together in a celebration of sail!
All proceeds will benefit Junior Sailing.
