Winter Sailing Program
HYC is partnering with Norfolk Yacht and Country Club to host Frostbiting for any juniors interested in keeping up with their racing skills during the winter. This program is open to both juniors of HYC members and juniors of nonmembers on our Optis (Optis and FJs at NYCC). Juniors MUST have racing experience. Junior Frostbiting occurs on Sundays from December to the end of February from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. We alternate Sundays from HYC to NYCC. Cost is only $25/junior and we meet in the Junior Shack.
We will assess the combination of wind, air and water temperature each Sunday to make sure it is safe enough for the juniors to go out in.
If you would like more information and to get on our email list, please contact the Sailing Director at firstname.lastname@example.org.
