The Summer Cruise Committee has adopted the following schedule of events for 2008. Please place the dates on your calendar.

1. Rappahannock River Cruise
   Because of conditions beyond our control, the trip to D.C. has been cancelled. In an effort to salvage some type of long cruise this summer and with the cost of fuel in mind, the following alternative has been planned.
    
       July 14, Monday - Deltaville
                   Doziers Regatta Point Marina - 804-776-8400
     
       July 15, Tuesday - Urbanna
                   Doziers Port Urbanna - 804-758-0000
    
       July 16, Wednesday - Corrotoman River
               Frank Miller's Pier  
               We will have a cookout where you bring meat to cook and a dish to share.
               Corrotoman is a beautiful river.
   
       July 17, Thursday - Carters Creek
               Tides Inn - 800-843-3746
                (IMPORTANT - SPACE IS TIGHT AT THIS LOCATION. IF YOU ARE GOING, CALL NOW!)
     
       July 18, Friday and Saturday - Stutts Creek
               Mathews Yacht Club
                I will coordinate this but I must know who is planning to come so the club has an accurate count.
               Mathews has a pool and restaurant.

2.  August Weekend Cruise, August 9 – 10, Eastern Shore – Bay Creek
   Once again we are visiting Cape Charles at the Bay Creek Marina the weekend of August 9 -10. If you plan on attending, please call Bay Creek now to book your slip. As in the past, a wine cocktail party is planned. Those who have attended in the past know what a fun event this is. (Bay Creek - 757-331-8640)
